Main Board and GEM listed issuers in compliance
with the disclosure requirements
under the Listing Rules. All listed companies have been required to file their
annual reports and prospectuses with HKEx in electronic form since 1 April
2002. Annual reports and prospectuses published prior to that date may not be
available through the Listed Company Information Search. Listed Company

from companies currently listed, you should go to Listed Company Information

go listing after publishing a prospectus, you should go to Listed Company
Information Search - Delisted Securities and enter your search criteria into the
search form. You can use a single search key such as stock code, stock name,
time period, headline category, document type or a combination of search keys.
32.
Can I
search for latest information released by a company under Listed Company Information
Search?
Yes. The Listed Company
Information Search provides announcements, circulars and corporate
communications issued by companies up to the current day.
33.
I am
not certain of the name of the company and I do not know the stock code.
What should I do?
You can start a search by entering
part of the company name. A list of company names which include the letters you
entered will appear in alphabetical order. You can also click the List of Stock
Codes/Stock names at the top of the page to dig out the exact name or stock code
of the company. A double click of the name or stock code will take you to a
search form where you can immediately start your search.
34.
I am
looking for information from a listed company that changed its name recently.
Will the name change affect the result of my search?
No. All information submitted by
the company during the period you specified
- no matter what name it was submitted under - will be included in the search
results.
35.
I did a search under
"Listed Company Information Search - Current Securities" for announcements of a
particular listed company. The search results contained announcements
issued by another company. Why?
The company you were looking up
changed its name during the period covered by your search. All issuer
announcements published by that particular legal entity, regardless of its name
at the time of publication, appeared in your search results.
36.
I did a search by
stock code under "Listed Company Information Search - Delisted Securities" for
announcements of a particular delisted company. The search results contained
announcements issued by another company. Why?
There are two possible reasons.
First, the delisted company may have changed its name during the period covered
by your search. When that happens, the search results return all announcements
issued by the delisted company whether they were published under its old name or
its new name. Second, the stock code you used in your search may have been
assigned to different companies at different times. The stock code of a
delisted company may be reassigned to another company before it is listed. If
the second company is delisted later, then any search of delisted securities
with that particular stock code would produce results containing announcements
by both delisted companies. Nonetheless, users should be able to differentiate
the archive documents of the delisted companies based on the company names and
the announcements' release dates, which would be quite far apart.
37.
I did several
searches under Listed Company Information Search. Occasionally, the number of
records obtained from English interface was different from the number obtained
from Chinese interface. I am sure that the search criteria used were the same.
Why were the results different?
The discrepancy between the number
of English and Chinese documents found is due to that fact that listed issuers
are allowed to submit only one version (English or Chinese) of some types of
documents.
