HKEX Hosts Market Opening Ceremony to Welcome Lithuanian Prime Minister

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) hosted a market opening ceremony this morning to welcome Algirdas Butkevičius, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania and the official delegation.

HKEX Chairman Chow Chung Kong and Mr Butkevičius opened morning trading in HKEX's securities market by striking a gong.

The Lithuanian delegation observed operations on the trading floor of HKEX's securities market during the pre-opening session.

Mr Chow presented a HKEX bronze bull and a red trader's vest with the auspicious number 6682 to Mr Butkevičius towards the end of his visit.
