IMPORTANT NOTES:

  1. The following banks are approved by Hong Kong Securities Clearing Company Limited (HKSCC) to act as Designated Banks of Investor Participants for CCASS money settlement purposes.

  2. They all accept Hong Kong Dollar Current Account and some of them also accept other types of bank account for CCASS money settlement.  Individual Designated Banks may charge their customers for setting up CCASS money settlement arrangement. Investor Participants are advised to contact their designated banks for the details of setup charge.

     

  3. The Clearing House Automated Transfer System (CHATs) payment service to allow Investor Participants to use the Realtime Delivery versus Payment (RDP) method for CCASS money settlement is only provided by certain banks as indicated below.
