IMPORTANT NOTES:

  1. The following banks are approved by Hong Kong Securities Clearing Company Limited (HKSCC) to act as Designated Banks of Investor Participants for CCASS United States Dollar (USD) money settlement purposes.

  2. Most of them accept USD Current Account but some of them accept other types of USD bank account for CCASS USD money settlement.  Individual Designated Banks may charge their customers for setting up CCASS money settlement arrangement. Investor Participants are advised to contact their designated banks for the details of setup charge.

  3. The USD Clearing House Automated Transfer System (CHATS) payment service to allow Investor Participants to use the Realtime Delivery versus Payment (RDP) method for CCASS USD money settlement is only provided by certain banks as indicated below.
