For index options/warrants, the value for "index level" should be input at the space labelled as "Stock Price", and the "strike level" should be input at the space labelled as "Strike Price". Since the maximum value for such field is 20,000, to enter index level higher than 20,000, one may enter, say, 2,010.5 for 20,105. The computed option prices will be the same by simply multiplying the output prices with a factor of 10.

To calculate the theoretical value of an index warrant listed on the The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, one has to divide the value of the "Theoretical Price" determined by the calculator by the value of the divisor - the conversion factor set by the issuer for each warrant. See Example.

Please refer to the introductory page on Options/Warrants Calculator for information regarding the various input & output parameters.
