Resignation of Listing Committee member

The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the Exchange), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, has received a letter from Shirley Fung yesterday (Tuesday) tendering her resignation as a Main Board Listing Committee member of the Exchange with effect from 30 June 2004 for personal reasons.

The Exchange wishes to express its sincere gratitude to Ms Fung for her contribution to the Listing Committee.
