MDF Direct Connection Vendors

According to Technical Requirements for Direct Connection Market Datafeed ("MDF") Vendors, direct connection MDF vendors must be able to detect line failure automatically and reconnect with HKEx' MDF System within 1 minute. The requirement is also included in the MDF Certification Test for new direct connection MDF vendors and will be tested twice a year in the market rehearsals arranged by the Exchange.

The first market rehearsal for 2008 was held on Saturday 19 April 2008. Further sessions of re-test for vendors who had failed in the market rehearsal were held on Saturday 3 May, 21 June and 19 July. The results of these tests were as follows:
