PRS Direct Connection Vendors

According to Technical Requirements for Direct Connection Price Reporting System ("PRS") Vendors, direct connection PRS vendors must be able to detect line failure automatically and reconnect with HKEx' PRS System within 1 minute. The requirement is also included in the PRS Certification Test for new direct connection PRS vendors and will be tested twice a year in the market rehearsals arranged by the Exchange.

The first market rehearsals for 2008 were held on Saturday 7 and 14 June 2008. A further session of re-test for vendors who had failed in the market rehearsals was held on Saturday 21 June. The results were as follows:
