S&P 500 & HKEX Tech 100 Index

Introduction

The S&P 500 & HKEX Tech 100 Index is designed to measure the combined performance of the HKEX Tech 100 and the S&P 500. It provides a benchmark for ETF product development and may support products seeking eligibility for Southbound ETF Connect. The Index is a co-branded index between HKEX and S&P Dow Jones Indices.

• Cross-market coverage: The index comprises 100 of the largest technology companies listed in Hong Kong with 500 large-cap U.S. companies, providing exposure to both markets through a single benchmark.
  
• Diversified technology and market exposure: By combining innovative, Hong Kong-listed technology-focused companies with large-cap U.S. market leaders, the index offers diversified exposure to different growth drivers and market segments.
  
• ETF Connect eligibility: The index is designed to provide a benchmark for ETF product development, helping products meet the criteria for Southbound ETF Connect eligibility.
