Enterprise Data Package

Purpose

HKEX-IS introduced the Enterprise Data Package (“the Programme”) in December 2023 (duration subject to regular review) with an aim to facilitate retail participation in Hong Kong market by offering a fixed subscriber fee package for Exchange Participants of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong or Hong Kong Futures Exchange (“EPs”) or brokers that are registered with a regulatory body for brokerage service of securities or futures/options trading with retail business (collectively “Brokers”).

Programme Details

Programme Duration	From 1 December 2023 - 31 December 2025
Eligibility	• Brokers can opt to pay a fixed monthly subscriber fee to offer real-time streaming Level 1 data to an unlimited number of trading clients⁽¹⁾ • Brokers are restricted to market data vendor licensee or licensee's related company approved under Schedule 2 of the market data vendor licence agreement, subject to the applicable Redistribution Fee, Connection Fee (for direct connection only) and Subscriber Fees. Vendor’s Third Party Service client is not eligible for the Programme; • Upon service launch, Brokers are required to provide total monthly trading volume statistics by subscribers’ regions and name(s) of the relevant EP through which they trade for Hong Kong market as a condition to join the Programme.

Fixed Fee Package	• HK$400,000 per month for real-time securities streaming Level 1 data • HK$100,000 per month for real-time derivatives streaming Level 1 data • Fixed fee applies on an enterprise-wide basis to the market data vendor licensee and the approved related companies (if applicable) under Schedule 2 of the market data vendor licence agreement, provided that all eligible companies must be Brokers with retail business. • Subscriber login and monthly reporting on total number of subscribers by regions are required.

(1) The Programme does not cover data access from Mainland China, brokers who wish to provide market data services in Mainland China may enroll in the existing Marketing Programmes relating to Stock Connect.
