It provides a suite of market data product feeds with content, market depth and bandwidth requirements tailored to suit the needs of different types of clients while delivering vital pricing data to subscribers rapidly and efficiently. It also enables HKEX to establish points of presence for market data distribution outside of Hong Kong, such as on Mainland China.

Clients may choose to receive market data directly from OMD or indirectly via information vendors.
