Chairman Arculli Expresses Appreciation for Government’s Confidence in HKEx

In response to media enquiries about the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government’s increased shareholding in Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) for the account of the Exchange Fund, HKEx has issued the following statement by its chairman, Ronald Arculli:
We appreciate the HKSAR Government’s confidence in HKEx, and we will continue with our best endeavours to strengthen our markets to reinforce Hong Kong’s position as the most important international financial centre in this region.
