HKEx Publishes 40th Edition of its Quarterly Publication - Exchange

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) has published on the HKEx website the 40th edition of its quarterly publication, Exchange.  This edition includes:  

  • A summary of the wide-ranging efforts to prepare for Hong Kong’s first initial public offering in renminbi;

  • A report on the successful implementation of the first phase of the new trading hours in HKEx’s securities and derivatives markets;

  • An article on HKEx’s study of after-hours trading in its derivatives market;

  • An introduction to HKEx’s new Basic Market Prices Service;

  • A report on the rollout of an index that tracks volatility in HKEx’s securities market;

  • A Chat Room conversation with Yang Qiumei, HKEx's Head of Mainland Development, who discusses her team’s role and objectives;

  • An article based on a discussion with Eric Landheer, HKEx’s Head of Issuer Marketing, about how his team promotes the benefits of listing in Hong Kong;

  • An overview of the views submitted during the consultation on the Review of the Code on Corporate Governance Practices and associated Listing Rules; and

  • A report on the results of a recent survey that found investors from both Hong Kong and overseas remain active in HKEx’s securities market.
