Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) and the Administrative Committee of Zhongguancun Science Park in Beijing today (Thursday) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on cooperation and the exchange of information.

The MOU was signed by HKEx's Head of Mainland Development Yang Qiumei and Liao Guohua, Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of Zhongguancun.  The signing ceremony was held during the 15th Beijing-Hong Kong Economic Cooperation Symposium in Beijing and was witnessed by Dai Wei, Deputy Secretary of the Beijing Municipal Government; Guo Hong, Director of the Administrative Committee of Zhongguancun; andTommy Yuen, Deputy Director of the Office of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in Beijing, as well as other senior officials from the Beijing Municipal Government. 

Under the MOU, the two sides will cooperate in encouraging enterprises based in Zhongguancun, the Mainland’s technology hub, to accelerate their development through listing and raising funds in the international capital market.
