Futures and options on futures listed on HKFE may only be traded in the United States or by U.S. persons through a futures commission merchant (“FCM”) that is registered with the CFTC, or through a foreign broker in reliance on an exemption from registration as an FCM.
None of the HKEX Entities are registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) in any capacity, including as a national securities exchange, clearing agency or broker-dealer. Where this website refers to the Stock Connect programs, the applicable SEHK rules and Hong Kong and Mainland China regulations shall apply.
