The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong has issued determination notices to 172 C.A. Pacific Securities claimants and 75 Forluxe Securities claimants.

The determination notices to the C.A. Pacific Securities claimants were issued last Tuesday (January 26) and the notices to the Forluxe Securities claimants were issued yesterday (February 2).  It is expected that the Securities and Futures Commission will act on the copies of the determination notices and will soon make payment to the successful claimants.

The Exchange Council resolved in early November to adopt a similar approach to compensate clients of Forluxe Securities, Chark Fung Securities and Foreground Securities as for clients of C.A. Pacific Securities, after considering the exceptional circumstances of the four cases.

About 900 C.A. Pacific Securities claimants and 58 Foreground Securities claimants have already received compensation payments from the SFC.
