Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) announces today (Tuesday) the introduction of HKEx Data Products - a web-based platform which provides easy access to HKEx's historical data products through online subscription, payment and delivery.

HKEx Data Products is a one-stop shop offering the following key benefits:

• Online subscription -  HKEx Data Products is a web-based platform which can be easily accessed by local and overseas subscribers. It allows online subscription, providing a convenient and efficient means to obtain HKEx historical data products on a timely basis.

   

• Flexible and efficient dissemination channels - Subscribers can choose how they obtain the products they purchase. Most of the historical data products can be delivered by three methods: online download from the website, email or CD by post.

   

• Online credit card payment - HKEx Data Products accepts Visa Card and Master Card for payment so there is no need to go through the time-consuming process of opening an account by post. Offline payment by check is also acceptable.

   

• Product information and samples - Subscribers can obtain the User Guide and sample files of most of the products from HKEx Data Products. A comprehensive product catalogue is also available online.

   

• "My Account"  function -  HKEx Data Products provides the registered subscriber with a "My Account" function which displays the subscriber's profile and subscription details over the past two years.

   

• Discount offers - HKEx Data Products offers a 50 per cent discount to academic institutions except when the price is already deeply discounted for promotion purposes. A 15 per cent bulk discount is offered on most products when the subscription period is 12 months or longer.
