Suspension of Trading in International Stock Futures and Options

Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), is suspending the trading of its International Stock Futures and Options (ISFO).

No new futures contract months, option contract months or option series will be introduced for trading.

Existing contract months with no open interest will be suspended with immediate effect.

"The trading suspensions are the result of frequent reviews of our product portfolio to ensure that our products are meeting the needs and demands of the market, in a cost efficient manner," said an HKEx spokesman.
