Following the changes in the Board composition that took effect yesterday (12 April 2005), the Board has today considered and appointed members to various Committees and Consultative Panels.
Dr KWOK Chi Piu, Bill is appointed a member of the Executive Committee, and the Chairman of the Derivatives Market Consultative Panel to succeed Mr LEONG Ka Chai who retired after the conclusion of the annual general meeting held yesterday.
Mr LEE Kwan Ho, Vincent Marshall is appointed a member of the Nomination Committee to succeed Dr Bill Kwok.
Dr CHEUNG Kin Tung, Marvin is appointed a member of the Audit Committee and the Remuneration Committee to succeed Mr WEBB David Michael and Mr Vincent Lee respectively. Dr Marvin Cheung is also appointed the Deputy Chairman of the Derivatives Market Consultative Panel to succeed Dr Bill Kwok who would take the chair of the Panel.
The term of service with each committee or panel shall be co-terminous with individual's term of directorship with HKEx.
