Appointment of Listing Committee Members
The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the Exchange), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), announces the appointment of members to the Listing Committees of the Main Board and the Growth Enterprise Market (GEM).
The Listing Rules of the Main Board and the GEM provide for the annual appointment and retirement of all Listing Committee members.
All current members of the Committees who were available for reappointment were reappointed to provide continuity in the period up to the introduction of the new structure for the Listing Committee which has been the subject of a recent consultation.
In addition, Mr Moses Cheng and Mr Carlson Tong were appointed as the Chairman and the Deputy Chairman of the Committees respectively.
The Exchange wishes to thank Mr Peter Tse, who did not seek reappointment, for his dedicated service to the Committees.
The vacancies on the Committees resulting from Dr Marvin Cheung's resignation and Mr Peter Tse's decision to step down will be filled by Mr Roy Chen and Mr Peter Greenwood.
