Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) has extended its special offer for Mainland users of HKEx's real-time securities trading information. The discounted monthly fee of $80 per device started from July 2002 and was due to end in December this year, but will now be extended until December 2006. The regular monthly fee for the service is $200.

A futures data package without price depth will also be offered together with the securities information package free of charge under the discount programme. The regular monthly subscription fee for the futures package is up to $25 per device. The details are as follows:

* The Programme is restricted to residents genuinely residing or institutions whose users
are physically located in Mainland China (excluding the Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan regions).

"By extending the discount offer, we hope to ensure continuity of our services which have been well-received by market users. We also hope to enhance the availability of our trading information in an important market for us. Through this programme Mainland listed companies and institutional investors can get access to reliable data on our markets in a timely manner," said Bryan Chan, HKEx Head of Information Services.
