Appointment of Consultative Panel Members

The Board of Directors of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) has today (Friday) appointed members to the Cash Market Consultative Panel, Derivatives Market Consultative Panel and Clearing Consultative Panel.
Each consultative panel comprises two HKEx Directors who act as the Chairman and Deputy Chairman of each panel and eight members selected from representatives of market participants and industry experts. The terms of service of all previous members (other than the two Directors whose terms of service are co-terminous with their tenure of directorship) of the three panels expired on 30 April 2006. The Board re-appointed some of these members to one-year terms and appointed new members to three-year terms.
HKEx wishes to take this opportunity to thank the members who have retired for their dedicated service to the panels.
