Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) today (Thursday) introduced a designated section on its website featuring information on HKEx’s corporate governance.

The Corporate Governance (CG) Section provides information on HKEx’s key corporate governance principles, practices and relevant policies, with a checklist to illustrate HKEx’s compliance with the Code on Corporate Governance Practices (Appendix 14 to the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited).

Through the introduction of the CG Section, HKEx aims to provide its stakeholders with a reliable, efficient and readily available channel to access the latest and detailed information on HKEx’s approach to corporate governance and its practices.

The Chinese version of the CG Section will be available in May 2007.
