Addition of China Communications Services Corporation Ltd to Securities Eligible for Short Selling

The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), announces that China Communications Services Corporation Ltd (Stock Code: 552) will be added to the list of designated securities eligible for short selling with effect from Wednesday, 14 March  2007.

The latest list of all designated securities eligible for short selling is available on the HKEx website. 

 

Note: China Communications Services Corporation Ltd has become a constituent of the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index and its addition to the list of designated securities eligible for short selling is pursuant to the Eleventh Schedule of the Rules of the Exchange.
