Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) Chairman Ronald Arculli presents today (Thursday) a cheque for $5 million from HKEx to Gao Siren, Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, to support relief efforts in areas affected by this week’s earthquake in China’s Sichuan. They are joined by HKEx Director Vincent Lee.
In addition to today's corporate contribution, HKEx employees are being encouraged to make individual donations to the relief effort.
