Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) announced today (Monday) the publication of the Listing Committee’s latest annual report.  

The Listing Committee is an independent administrative decision maker and an advisory body for The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of HKEx.  The Listing Committee Report 2009 is an account of the Committee’s work in respect of the year ended 31 December 2009.  This is the fourth calendar year report of the Listing Committee and the first one to be published solely in electronic form.  The report is available on the HKEx website.

 “Publishing our annual report for the first time in electronic form only shows the commitment of the Committee to be more environmentally responsible,” Teresa Ko, Chairman of the Listing Committee, said.  “This is also in line with measures that the Committee has progressively introduced into the Listing Rules to facilitate electronic communication by listed companies.”
