Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) welcomes today’s (Wednesday) publication of the Securities and Futures Commission's (SFC) Consultation Conclusions on the Regulation of IPO Sponsors and fully support the SFC's initiatives to enhance the regulatory regime for sponsors of initial public offerings (IPOs) as this will strengthen Hong Kong as an international financial centre.

"The SFC's initiative is very timely and welcome," said HKEx Head of Listing Mark Dickens.  "We will work together with the SFC and the financial community to develop the Listing Rules changes needed to accommodate and complement some of the consultation conclusions."
