Regional Enterprise Data Package

Purpose

HKEX-IS (China) offers the Regional Enterprise Data Package (“Regional EDP”) that leverages on the existing Enterprise Data Package to attract retail participation and promote the visibility of securities market data in targeted regions.

The 9 regions covered under the Regional EDP are Australia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand (“the Regions”).

Programme Duration	Until 30 September 2028
Scope	• Market Data Vendors^# (“Vendors”) who are Exchange Participants of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong or Hong Kong Futures Exchange (“EPs”) or brokers that are registered with a regulatory body for brokerage service of securities or futures/options trading • Only apply to the subscribers who access the data from the Regions • Vendor’s Third Party Service client is not eligible for Enterprise Data Package
Data Content	Securities streaming Level 1 Market Data (i.e. Continuous Access L1)
Subscriber Fee	Waiver on Enterprise Data Package (savings of $400,000 per month. Minimum monthly Subscriber Fee of $6,000 is also waived) For the avoidance of doubt, subscribers who access the data outside the Regions would still be subject to the minimum monthly Subscriber Fee
Redistribution Fee and Connection Fee	Vendors are required to pay the applicable Redistribution Fee, Connection Fee (for direct connection only)
Requirements and restrictions	• Vendors are required to follow HKEX’s guidelines and requirements on Enterprise Data Package. Please see Guiding Note on Enterprise Data Package for details • Vendors shall pass through the Subscriber Fee waiver for streaming Level 1 data service to subscribers within the Regions • Vendors are required to provide monthly trading statistics by subscribers’ regions and name(s) of EP for order routing for Hong Kong market upon service launch as a condition to join Enterprise Data Package • Subscriber login and monthly reporting on total number of subscribers by regions are required • Vendors shall impose sufficient business control by ensuring subscribers’ account opening within the Regions • Vendors who want to apply for the Regional EDP shall seek prior approval from HKEX-IS by submitting applicable service application form
