The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong has published the GEM Investor Guide to help investors know more about the Growth Enterprise Market. The Guide contains 100 frequently asked questions about GEM and the answers, which should improve investors' understanding of GEM.

The Guide gives details of the market features of GEM and highlights the risks associated with trading in GEM securities. It covers trading and listing matters which will help investors protect their interests and make informed investment decisions when they deal in GEM securities.

The Guide has been posted on the GEM website (www.hkgem.com) under the Investor Education section for public access. Free copies of the Guide are also obtainable from the Exchange at 1/F., One and Two Exchange Square, Central, Hong Kong, offices of broker members as well as Hongkong Clearing's Investor Service Counters, and will be available soon for reference at the SEHK Collection of the City Hall Library and Shatin Central Library.
