HKEx welcomes the Government's plan to strengthen Hong Kong's financial markets

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) welcomes the Financial Secretary's pledge to continue to work with the financial markets participants to further strengthen Hong Kong's position as an international financial centre.
<p">In this connection, HKEx is working closely with the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and the government to increase the liquidity of our financial market, streamline procedures and lower the costs of issuing financial products in order to develop the market. In particular, we are working with the SFC on simplification of the procedures for retail bond issues and are reviewing the issuing and listing fees for certain financial products.
