The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited announces the list of Designated Securities for short selling, which will take effect on Friday, 29 November 2002, has been revised subsequent to the news release issued on 21 November 2002 regarding the changes.

As a result of the revision, six additional securities will be eligible for short selling and 15 existing Designated Securities will be removed from the list. The total number of Designated Securities for short selling will be 165.

A list of the Designated Securities to be added and removed is attached. The revised list of Designated Securities is also available on the HKEx website (http://www.hkex.com.hk).
