Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) began disseminating real-time odd lot market information to information vendors today (Monday) to increase market transparency.
The real-time odd lot market information being disseminated includes stock codes, order prices and both the aggregate order quantities and the number of orders for the best five bid prices and the best five ask prices.

In addition, the information vendors listed below plan to carry the real-time odd lot market information from next Monday (15 March):
"This initiative underlines our commitment to market transparency and improving our services to investors, particularly retail investors," said HKEx chief operating officer Patrick Conroy.
"We are pleased that several vendors have undertaken to offer real-time odd lot market information and we will continue to encourage other market data vendors to make the information available to their clients," Mr Conroy added.
