Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) welcomes the Government's appointment of Peter Wong as a member of the HKEx's Risk Management Committee (RMC). Mr Wong, who will succeed Raymond Or as Chairman of Hong Kong Interbank Clearing Limited on 1 April 2005, will have his RMC membership term run from 1 April 2005 to 19 January 2006.

In addition to Mr Or, Mark Dickens is also leaving the Committee after 31 March 2005. HKEx wishes to express its sincere gratitude to Mr Or and Mr Dickens for their contributions to the RMC.
