Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) has improved its system software to reduce the time required for disseminating closing prices in the securities market.

The upgrade followed the successful completion of tests.  HKEx wishes to thank market participants including HSI Services for their support during the weekend tests.

HKEx completed disseminating all closing prices at 16:01:54 today with approximately 407,000 trades and a turnover of $56.37 billion.
