-	The Hang Seng Index (HSI) closed at 19651.51 today, down 496.36 points. It was the biggest point decline since 28 November 2006 when the index was down 564.48 points.
-	Today’s securities market turnover value was $80,859 million, the highest ever.
-	Today’s derivative warrants and callable bull/bear contracts turnover were $9,101 million and $113.9 million.
-	A total of 639,520 trades were concluded today (previous record: 633,696 trades recorded on 4 January 2007).
-	Today’s market capitalisation is $13,224,048,844,562. Yesterday’s market capitalisation was $13,598,024,655,732.
