In response to media enquiries about the news reports on an investigation in relation to certain alleged market manipulation activities, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) issued the following statement:

HKEx contacted all derivative warrant (DW) issuers before the market opened this morning. All issuers have confirmed that they are operationally ready and their liquidity providers will continue to provide market-making services.

HKEx said its DW market opened as normal this morning.
