PCCW has announced the timetable for the proposed privatisation of the company will be changed and Monday, 16 February 2009 will not be the last day of dealing in PCCW shares. 

As a result, PCCW option and futures contracts will be available for trading until further notice and all outstanding PCCW futures contracts will not be settled on 17 February 2009 as stipulated in the HKEx news release dated 21 January 2009.

HKEx has instructed Exchange Participants to notify their clients holding positions in the PCCW option and futures contracts of the above arrangements and the revised timetable for the proposed privatisation of PCCW.
