Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) announced today (Friday) that Grace Kan is succeeding Bonnie Chan, who will leave the Listing Division on 27 August 2010, to lead the IPO Transactions Department.  

Ms Kan is a long service staff member of the Listing Division.  Since joining the Division in October 1996, she has held various positions responsible for corporate finance, compliance and monitoring and IPO transactions.   Ms Kan is an Associate member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia.  Before joining the Division, Ms Kan worked in a number of accounting firms early in her career, including Arthur Andersen & Co in Hong Kong and Price Waterhouse in Australia.

HKEx thanks Ms Chan for her valuable contributions since joining the Listing Division in April 2007 and wishes her all the best in her further endeavours.

"Bonnie has made a major contribution to better and more efficient regulation of our primary market," HKEx's Head of Listing Mark Dickens said.  "She will leave behind a strong team that will ensure our IPO transaction work continues as normal, and I have great confidence that Grace can continue to build on Bonnie's good work."
