Admission of Swire Properties Limited to List of Designated Securities for Short Selling

The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), announces that with effect from 29 February 2012 (Wednesday), Swire Properties Limited (Stock code: 1972) will be admitted to the list of designated securities eligible for short selling.
