HKEx Renews Contract of its Head of Listing, Mark Dickens

Corporate
13 Jul 2012

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) has renewed the contract of Mark Dickens, its Head of Listing, for one year to July 2013.

Mr Dickens' current contract expires later this month (July 2012), when he will reach HKEx's standard retirement age of 60.

In addition to continuing his regular responsibilities as Head of the Listing Division, another important priority for Mr Dickens in the coming year will be to participate in HKEx’s search for his successor, who will be expected to meet the high standard Mr Dickens has set, and to help that person make a smooth transition into the role.

"We are very glad Mark has agreed to renew his contract for an additional year," said HKEx Chief Executive Charles Li.  "He has made a major contribution to the further development of HKEx, and his knowledge and experience will be valuable assets as we prepare our Listing Division for the future."

Mr Dickens joined HKEx in January 2009.
