President of UN General Assembly Visits HKEx

United Nations General Assembly President Vuk Jeremic visited Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) today (Friday) and met with HKEx Chairman C K Chow, who briefed Mr Jeremic on the development of HKEx and its markets. They also exchanged views on issues of mutual interest and the investment opportunities in Serbia for foreign investors.
Mr Jeremic was the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia for close to six years before he was elected president of the United Nations General Assembly in June 2012. The General Assembly comprises all 193 members of the United Nations and is its main deliberative, policy making and representative body.
HKEx's securities market is the world’s sixth largest by market capitalisation.
