It has come to the attention of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) that an entity called "Hong Kong Global Exchange Co. Ltd." has sent out emails offering to provide business loans and project financing services to customers and that its website address www.hkglobalexchange.com automatically opened to HKEx’s corporate website.

HKEx would like to inform the public that "Hong Kong Global Exchange Co. Ltd." is not a member of the HKEx Group nor is it in any way associated with any member of the HKEx Group.  HKEx has not authorised any person to offer loans or project financing services on its behalf.

HKEx has reported the matter to the relevant Hong Kong authorities.

Members of the public are advised to exercise caution if approached by any person claiming to represent or be authorised by HKEx to provide loans or project financing services.   In case of doubt, members of the public may seek confirmation from HKEx by emailing to info@hkex.com.hk.
