Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) has appointed Angelina Kwan as Head of Regulatory Compliance in its Listing and Regulatory Affairs Division.

Ms Kwan will join HKEx on 19 January 2015 and report to David Graham, HKEx's Chief Regulatory Officer and Head of Listing.

Gerald Greiner will continue in his role of Advisory Chairman of Regulatory Affairs in addition to his role as Advisory Chairman of Global Clearing.

Ms Kwan, a Certified Public Accountant, has over 27 years of experience and has worked in the US as well as in Asia.  She has held senior management positions with the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong and several international financial services firms. In addition, Ms Kwan has held a number of committee and board positions in various governmental, commercial and non-profit organisations in Asia.

Ms Kwan has earned her bachelors and masters degrees in the US (University of Southern California and Pepperdine University) and an LLB from a joint programme organised by Hong Kong University, School of Professional and Continuing Education and Manchester Metropolitan University of the UK.
