ANNOUNCEMENT

In relation to the matter of
Trony Solar Holdings Company Limited
(Stock Code: 2468)

Cancellation of listing

The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the “Exchange”) announces that with effect from 9:00 am on 23 August 2018, the listing of the shares of Trony Solar Holdings Company Limited (the “Company”) will be cancelled.

 

The Exchange announces that the listing of the Company’s shares will be cancelled with effect from 9:00 am on 23 August 2018.

Trading in the Company’s shares was suspended on 21 June 2012. On 5 January 2017, the Exchange gave the Company a 6-month period within which the Company must, to avoid delisting, remedy the matters rendering it no longer suitable for listing.

The Company did not remedy the matters rendering it no longer suitable for listing.  On 14 July 2017, the Listing Committee decided to cancel the listing of the Company’s shares on the Exchange.

On 24 July 2017, the Company sought a review by the Listing (Review) Committee of the Listing Committee’s decision. On 20 November 2017, the Listing (Review) Committee upheld the Listing Committee’s decision to cancel the Company’s listing.  On 28 November 2017, the Company sought a further review by the Listing Appeals Committee of the listing cancellation decision.  On 10 August 2018, the Listing Appeals Committee upheld the Listing (Review) Committee’s decision to cancel the Company’s listing.

Accordingly, the Exchange will cancel the Company’s listing with effect from 9:00 am on 23 August 2018.  The Exchange has requested the Company to publish an announcement on the cancellation of its listing.

The Exchange advises shareholders of the Company who have any queries about the implications of the delisting to obtain appropriate professional advice.
