Trading in Securities and Derivatives Markets will Resume following Cancellation of Typhoon Signal No. 8

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) announced that trading in the securities market will resume at 1:00 pm today (Thursday), following the cancellation of Typhoon Signal No. 8.

For its derivatives market, for products with morning and afternoon trading sessions, trading will resume at 1:00 pm. Trading of other derivatives products will resume at 11:30 am.

When the Hong Kong securities market resumes trading, there will be no Pre-opening Session. For those futures contracts with a Pre-Market Opening Period (PMOP), the PMOP will commence either 15 or 30 minutes before trading resumes, depending on the specific contract.
