Marketing Programme for Level 1 Mobile Application Service

Purpose

HKEX-IS introduced the Marketing Programme for Level 1 Mobile Application Service (“the Programme”) in December 2023 (duration subject to regular review) with an aim to further promote the mobile-only market data subscription service for securities market data. This service is tailored specifically to the needs of retail investors, supporting the latest practices and technologies in accessing securities market data.

Programme Details

Programme Duration	From 1 December 2023 - 31 December 2025
Eligibility	Information Vendors ("IVs") with standalone mobile application service(s).
Data Content	Same as Continuous Access Level 1
Discounted Subscriber Fees	• HK$10 per Subscriber Unit per month • IVs may provide Third Party Service, subject to minimum monthly Subscriber Fees of HK$6,000 for Securities Market Data applicable to each Third Party Client who is not an Exchange Participant of SEHK. Please see Guiding Note on Third Party Service for details. Clients who currently subscribe the Level 1 Mobile Application Service at HK$38 per Subscriber Unit per month are automatically eligible for the discounted subscriber fees under the Programme with effect from 1 December 2023. Only new joiners are required to submit applicable application form(s) for our prior approval.
