The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong issued a further batch of determination notices to 420 C.A. Pacific Securities Claimants on Friday (March 26).

Copies of the determination notice were sent to the Securities and Futures Commission for payment to the claimants. A large majority of the 420 claims were successful. This brings to 1,640 the number of determination notices issued to claimants of C.A. Pacific Securities.

The Exchange has mobilised additional resources to handle claims in order to speed up the process. It expects to issue further batches of determination notices to C.A. Pacific Securities and about 90 clients of Forluxe Securities at the end of April.

The Exchange issued determination notice to 75 Forluxe Securities clients and issued determination notices to 60 Foreground Securities clients in February. It has yet to determine one claim application of Foreground Securities clients.
