Hong Kong Listed Companies Corporate Documents and Derivative Warrants & Debt Securities Issuer Documents 1998 on Compact Disks

Corporate
21 Jun 1999

The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited released today (Monday) two new CD products containing listed issuer corporate documents.

Hong Kong Listed Companies Corporate Documents 1998 (Excluding Interim & Annual Reports) contains black and white images in English and Chinese of corporate documents published during 1998 by Hong Kong listed companies.  Corporate documents include prospectuses, shareholder circulars, proposals for corporate action -- takeovers, reorganisations, disposals of assets, stock consolidations -- and notices of notifiable transactions.

Derivative Warrants & Debt Securities Issuer Documents 1998 contains documents published by issuers of derivative warrants and debt securities listed on the Exchange in 1998.  Issuer documents include base listing documents, supplementary listing documents, prospectuses, offering circulars and information memoranda.

Document images can be retrieved quickly by company or issuer name, stock code, document type, publication date or language.  These two new CD products, together with the Annual and Interim Reports on CD issued in March, constitute a full record of corporate documents published by Hong Kong listed issuers.

The Exchange has produced these CDs to provide easy public access to listed company documents, and to help commercial and academic institutions to build up their reference collection on the Hong Kong stock market.

Special prices of HK$1,500 for the corporate documents CD and HK$500 for the derivative warrants and debt securities CD will be charged for orders received before July 31. (Unit prices for the two CD products are HK$1,800 and HK$600 respectively.) Subscription forms are available on the Exchange's web site at http://www.sehk.com.hk and at the Sales Counter of the Exchange, on 1/F, One & Two Exchange Square , Central.
