The Hong Kong Futures Exchange (HKFE) announced that today's street-wide simulated trading on its HKATS electronic trading system has been completed as planned. Today's simulated trading followed a similar exercise conducted on 29 April.

105 Exchange Participants took part in the simulated trading.

According to the preliminary analysis, the target volume of 3-times historical peak trading activity was achieved.

Today's simulated trading was monitored by the Exchange and the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).

The Exchange will analyse the results and advise Exchange Participants and the SFC of the findings as soon as possible.
