ANNOUNCEMENT
ANNOUNCEMENT in relation to the Exchange's public statement dated 19 March 2001

Reference is made to the announcement dated 19 March 2001 by the Exchange in relation to the public statement of criticism in respect of Mr. Wong Wai Chi David ("Mr. Wong"), the former Chairman and Executive Director of Global Link Cyber International Limited (formerly known as Kong Tai International Holdings Company Limited) (the "Company").

The Exchange would like to clarify that Mr. Wong was Chairman and Executive Director of the Company at the material time when the relevant breaches occurred. Mr. Wong resigned as Chairman and Executive Director of the Company on 4 October 2000 but has remained as Non-executive Director of the Company.

For the avoidance of doubt, the Exchange reiterates once again that in relation to this matter it is not criticising the Company or any members of its Board save for Mr. Wong Wai Chi David.
